Carson’s journey has been a really special one to be part of.
Before joining The Collective, Carson had experienced a couple of instructors around a year earlier and, understandably, came to me carrying quite a lot of nerves and self-doubt. When he started lessons with me six months ago, what he really needed wasn’t just technical coaching—but a boost in confidence and someone to genuinely believe in him.
From the very beginning, Carson was an absolute gentleman. Every single lesson, he turned up ready to give 100%. We had some great chats along the way, and week by week I watched his confidence grow—not just in his driving, but in himself.
By the time test day came around, I knew he was ready—but I still chose to sit in the back for his test. And I’m so glad I did. Watching Carson drive with calm, confidence, and control was honestly such a proud moment. He handled it beautifully and passed his test with just three minor faults—all silly little ones caused by nothing more than test-day nerves.
Hearing the result he had worked so hard for was incredibly rewarding. This was a pass he truly earned.
Carson, you’re now officially on your way—and I couldn’t be happier for you. I’m looking forward to helping you build motorway confidence next, and I can’t wait to see you driving your work van out there on the roads.
I’ll genuinely miss our lessons, but I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved.
