Ending 2025 With a Bang (and a Bit of Bragging Rights)

What a way to finish the year—December’s been a flurry of driving tests, a handful of shiny new passes, and more than a little chaos in the DWL Collective diary. But just when I thought things couldn’t get any wilder, I got the news: I’ve officially been named one of the Top 100 Driving Instructors in the UK for 2026. Yes, you read that right—me! Proper badge, official logo, and everything.

Massive thank you to every single pupil (and their parents) who stuck with me, booked the lessons, sent the nervous texts, and, most importantly, nominated me for this award. I honestly didn’t expect to end the year with both new passes and national recognition—but here we are!

For those who don’t know, this is my first full year going fully independent after breaking away from the franchise life. No more someone else’s rules, just me, the car, and an endless supply of snacks and sarcasm. I wanted to do things my own way—turns out, that was a pretty good shout.

So here’s to the December pass club, the chaos, the giggles, and the DWL Collective legends who made this happen. Thanks for keeping me (mostly) sane, believing in me, and making sure I’m never short of a story or two.
