Charlotte passed her driving test today — and honestly, no one deserved it more.
She was extremely nervous, but she has worked so hard to get to this point. We were up at the crack of dawn and at the test centre before the sun had even thought about showing up. One of those cold, quiet mornings where everything feels a bit bigger than it normally does.
Charlotte was assigned the toughest examiner, but instead of letting that shake her, she lifted her chin, set her shoulders, and got on with it. No stalls, no panic — just calm, focused driving. She completed the test with only four tiny faults, and even the examiner was impressed.
I am absolutely over the moon for her, especially because I so wanted her to pass before Christmas. It’s always a bit bittersweet when a pupil passes — I’ll really miss our lessons. Charlotte is hilarious, thoughtful, and such a joy to chat to in the car.
But today isn’t about me missing lessons. It’s about her confidence, her resilience, and the fact that she’s earned every bit of this win.
I wish her every success in the future — and I couldn’t be prouder. 💙🚗
